Face Lift

A face lift, technically known as rhytidectomy, is an extremely popular surgical technique to remove the signs of aging in both men and women. The procedure involves removing excess fat, tightening under-lying muscles, and redraping the skin of the face and neck.

A facelift can be done alone, or along with other cosmetic procedures, such as forehead lift, eyelid surgery, or nose reshaping. More women get a face-lift than men as it is easier to hide the incisions in their hair. Dr. Das is experienced in making the incisions just as inconspicuous for a man. Dr. Das just launched a new face lift technique called “Das Lift” that can be done on an out-patient basis, and takes much less time and costs less than a traditional face lift.

Consult Dr. Das to know if you are an ideal patient for “Das Lift”.

Forehead Lift

Forehead lift, also known as a brow lift, can minimize some of the most visible signs of aging, such as drooping eyebrows, “hooding” over the eyes, forehead furrows and frown lines. The muscles and skin that cause the problems are removed or altered to smooth the forehead, raise the upper eyelids and minimize frown lines.

A forehead lift is often used in conjunction with eyelid surgery to reduce sagging skin found on the upper eyelids.

Eyelid Surgery

Eyelid surgery, technically known as blepharoplasty is a cosmetic procedure to remove excess skin, fat or muscle from droopy upper and lower eyelids. This procedure can correct sign of aging, such as drooping upper lids and puffy bags below the eyes. Blepharoplasty can also correct ptosis (drooping eyelid), a medical condition that causes the eyelids to hand very low and impair vision.

An eyelid surgery will not eliminate dark circles under the eyes, remove crow’s feet, or other facial wrinkles. Blepharoplasty is often performed in conjunction with other facial procedures, such as facelift or browlift.
